He has served as an auctioneer in the states of CA & TN and has held real estate licenses in these states. He is a past member of the National, CA, and TN Auctioneers Assoc., the CA Realtors Assoc., the TN Assoc. of Realtors, and the Sumner County Assoc. of Realtors. He was also certified as a Senior Real Estate Specialist and has taught classes on how to handle personal property for estates and downsizing.

Types of Appraisal Services

  • Insurance: Values increase over time, especially for antiques & collectibles

  • Replacement Value: Typically the true cost of replacing an asset is higher than the amount of insurance coverage most people maintain

  • Retail Value: The price you can get in the open market

  • Resale Value: The price you can get in the secondary market

  • Probate Court: To satisfy estate value and to show due diligence on the part of the court and trustee or executors

  • Taxes: It may be to your advantage to re-appraise, especially if values have decreased significantly
