Larry J. Parker
Larry is a retired public educator from the state of California, who simultaneously built one of CA's largest auction/estate sale/appraisal/import businesses. He retired from education in 2004 and moved, with his wife to Hendersonville, TN. to be near their 3 children. Larry continued to work his estate sale business in California; while periodically doing some estate sales here in TN. Working in CA at 200 days per yr. became unacceptable to him, so he "retired" this business at the end of 2007.
He loves Tennessee and the people here and is very proud to officially be identified as a"Tennessean".  He is committed to serving those in need of his Estate/Appraisal services by offering the very best to the task at hand with Dedication, Diligence, & Dignity; performing these tasks with the ultimate in Professionalism and Confidentiality.

Larry has sold, literally, hundreds & hundreds of estates and businesses since 1971. He has experience selling and appraising everything from fine antiques to all sorts of personal property including supplies, fixtures and equipment for commercial, industrial and agricultural interests.

Beginning in 1981, Larry began importing antiques from the European market.  He had as many as 7 shippers at a time and received up to eight 40' containers of antiques per month over a 12 year period. These, he sold to collectors, dealers, wholesalers, the general public and business clients such as restaurants and hotels. He also made containers available for fundraising activities to schools, chambers of commerce, volunteer fire departments, etc.  Bordering Freeway 99 in north central California near Turlock,  his auction/showroom/ warehouse, (over 20,000 sq. ft.), was a familiar sight with its  huge landmark hand painted gavel on the roof.

Larry continued developing a huge following for his estate sales whether by tag sale (which he prefers) or by auction. He has had the privilege to sell for people of all walks and strata of life from the famous to the average.  Parker feels that,  every estate is unique and carries its own story and personality. Perhaps this is why Larry has been so successful with estate sales; he understands this concept. He strives to present the true character of every estate he sells to prospective buyers. He feels that in getting to know the character of the estate, that it cannot but help the prospective buyer gain a better appreciation of the intrinsic as well as the monetary value of the previous owner's personal property.

"It's all about being Dedicated to the estate while working with Diligence to give each estate the Dignity it deserves; all the while practicing Professionalism with the utmost degree of Confidentiality."
